When it comes to exotic supercars like the McLaren P1, there's no such thing as too many photos, especially since very few people will actually get the chance to see one up close…It is the second time this year that McLaren has shared an admittedly, beautiful gallery of images of the P1 photographed at the Bahrain International Circuit. The British automaker said it did so this time to celebrate the opening of the new McLaren Manama showroom at the Bahrain World Trade Center over the 2013 Formula 1 Gulf Air Bahrain Grand Prix programme.
In regards to the showroom, McLaren added that it will put on display the first McLaren raced by the 2009 FIA Formula 1 World Champion, Jenson Button in his debut season for the team in 2010, the MP4-25.
All in all, the company will build only 375 numbered examples of the $1.15 million P1 that sports a hybrid 3.8-liter turbocharged V8-electric motor powertrain good for 903HP (916PS) offering a top speed of 350 km/h (217.5 mph).
McLaren pointed out that interest in the Middle East alone, far exceeds the production numbers…
