Facelifted Ford Fiesta Van Gains Aston Martin-Esque Schnozzle

Joining the refreshed range of Fiesta hatchbacks in Europe is the facelifted, commercial version of the series aptly named the Fiesta Van, which is available to order now in Britain, with customer deliveries from early January 2013.The 2013 model Fiesta Van features the same styling and equipment upgrades as the rest of the lineup highlighted by Ford's new six-point front grille with chrome bars and a host of new technologies, including in-car connectivity system SYNC with Emergency Assistance, Active City Stop, and MyKey system.
UK buyers can choose between a single petrol unit, the 81hp (82PS) 1.25-litre Duratec, andtwo diesels, the new 74hp (75PS) 1.5-litre Duratorq TDCi and 94hp (95PS) 1.6-litre Duratorq TDCi, with the latter also offered in ECOnetic trim featuring standard Auto-Start-Stop, lowered suspension, aerodynamic rear under-tray and wheel trims, and low rolling resistance tyres.
According to the Blue Oval, all diesels engines in the new Fiesta Van achieve sub-100g/km CO2 emissions and 76.4mpg UK or better, while the ECOnetic model returns 87g/km and 85.6mpg UK respectively.
The two-seater model discards the rear seat bench of the hatch to create a load length of 1.3 metres with a capacity of 1.0 cubic metres and gross payload ranging from 485-508kg (1,070-1,120 pounds), depending on the model.
